How to find the CPU/GPU info [Windows]

This is a short guide on how to find your CPU or GPU model information. I'm showing two ways that you can do that, but there are many others as well.

In Windows XP through Windows 10

Ther are many ways to find your CPU or GPU information. Bellow, you find 2 way to help you find the CPU/GPU info.

Option #1

  1. Open the “Run” dialog box by pressing and holding the Windows key, then press the R key (“Run”).
  2. Type devmgmt.msc:
    Device Manager
    Device Manager Open
  3. In the Device Manager windows look for Processors and Display Adapters. Under each of them, you will find their model information.

 

Option #2

HWiNFO gives you detailed information on every piece of hardware in your computer.

Note:
You can skip the installation of the HWiNFO, if you already know your hardware info – CPU / GPU / RAM.
